Since Chris has worked right next to Cafe Asia for years, I had visited a couple of times before I started working in Rosslyn myself. Cafe Asia is the perfect place for an after work dinner or happy hour drink. One highlight of the restaurant is the huge room in the back used for extra seating, Cafe Asia events, or private parties.
Last time we went, we ordered sushi and sashimi, of course. I’ve tried out the pad thai before, but in my limited experience, sushi is the way to go here. The egg rolls — both the fried and spring rolls — are also a great way to start.
A Cafe Asia dinner may not change your life, but the atmosphere is lively and adds a lot to a dining experience even when you’re already in good company. Quality post-work spots attract people who just want to smile and socialize after a long day… and Cafe Asia does just that. Try out their sushi happy hour sometime!
