We brunched with our friends Kimberly and Walter at Station 4 again last weekend. Why am I writing about this another time? We actually ordered the same exact dishes too! Well, first of all, Station 4 has proved to be a favorite for the four of us. We dined cheaply again thanks to The Capitol Deal and had the best time.
To be honest though, the real reason why I wanted to write this entry was that I just bought a new camera off of eBay and now am dying to post some pictures! I’m learning to use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3 now. While I’m mostly still confused about how to work it, some of the photos came out pretty well from brunch.
It was a great opportunity for photo-taking, because the interior of Station 4 is so fun and glamorous. Since we dined there in May last year, we ate on the patio. It was nice to enjoy the inside of the restaurant this time around. Kimberly said she could see me designing a house in the same style. The look really is right up my alley with the urban chic theme and the color palette of red, black, white, and gold.
Bring on the mimosas! The blood marys were really good too. As I mentioned, the boys ordered steak and eggs with duck fat fries (yum), while the girls chose huevos rancheros again.
I hope The Capitol Deal keeps circulating Station 4 through, but if not, I know we will still make an effort to go back and even pay full price!
Note: I am still catching up on some writing, so not all of the blog entries moving forward will feature photos from this cool camera… yet!
